Event: The run/walk will begin at 8:30 AM. Wheelchair racers are welcome. All ages may participate. The kids one mile run will begin at approximately 9:30 AM. Runners who raise $100 will get their registration fee reimbursed at the race. Packet Pickup: Race Packets can be picked up Friday, March 1, at the Magnolia Grill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 2, from 6:30 to 7:45 Am at the Ft Walton Beach Landing. Post Race: Join us for the post-race party and awards ceremony at the historic Magnolia Grill, conveniently located on Brooks Street, at the conclusion of the event. 5K Run Awards: Overall male/female, master male/female and grandmaster male/female for the 5K run. Awards will also be presented to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. 5K Walk: Awards will be presented to the overall male/female, master male/female and the next top ten finishers. 1 Mile Fun Run: Overall boy/girl and top three in the 0-6, 7-10, and 11-13 age groups. Course Description Course: The course is a fast, flat, out-and-back course, following Brooks St and Bay Blvd along the Sound. There will be water stations along the route. There is a one-mile fun run for children, so bring the whole family! Entry Fees: Early registration through Thursday, February 28. Early 5K runner/walker: $20.00 Late Registration: $25.00 Early Fun Run runner/walker: $ 5.00 Late Registration: $10.00 T-Shirts: T-shirts will be guaranteed for the first 200 entries.
